Mr. Candee represents individuals and companies in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation. Mr. Candee has been engaged in the private practice of law since graduating from law school in 1981 and over the course of his career has handled controversies involving construction, contract, consumer, professional negligence, lending, real estate, escrow, insurance, insurance coverage, employment and ERISA issues. Mr. Candee also has experience litigating securities matters and business torts, including those involving covenants not to compete, trade secrets, unfair competition, tortious interference, copyright infringement and business disparagement. Mr. Candee’s litigation experience not only includes two party suits, but also suits involving multiple parties and class actions.
